As part of the development of the V. I. Graifer field, marine operations were performed for the transportation and offshore installation of key structures for the ice-resistant fixed platform and the living quarters platform. The scope of work included jacket structures, topsides, piles, conductor pipes, and the bridge link providing technological and operational connection between the LQP and the IRFP.
The project covered the full cycle of preparation and execution of marine operations, including the development of technical solutions, preparation of the transportation and installation fleet, load-out and sea-fastening of oversized structures, offshore transportation to the installation site, positioning, and installation in the design location. The works were carried out taking into account the challenging conditions of the Caspian Sea, as well as the requirements for safety, installation accuracy, and reliable further operation of the facilities.
During the marine campaign, coordinated operation of the transportation and installation fleet was ensured, together with the safe delivery of oversized structures to the offshore installation site and their installation in the design position. The completed operations enabled the key stage of offshore construction of the platform complex to be finalized in compliance with safety requirements, installation accuracy, and the approved technological sequence of works.
